What affiliate links are
Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the seller. You never pay more because of this — the price is identical either way.
Our rules for recommendations
- We recommend tools based on our own use and testing, not commission rates.
- Every review states who a tool is for and who should skip it. A recommendation without a “skip if” isn’t a review; it’s an ad.
- Affiliate relationships never determine editorial coverage. Tools cannot pay for reviews or favorable treatment.
- Pages containing affiliate links carry a disclosure notice near the top, in addition to this site-wide policy.
Programs
As affiliate relationships become active, we may participate in programs including (but not limited to) software platforms, hosting providers, and marketplaces such as Amazon Associates. Where a specific program requires specific disclosure language, it appears on the relevant pages.
